Text of the inscription is carved in majuscule with convex letters. Under the inscription is a house mark of Sachari Hölse (Hoelse) depicting a pretzel with a crown in the shield, the symbol of his trade. In the three fields inside the pretzel: in two bottom fields are letters S and H, the first letters of the deceased’s full name; in the top field is a clover leaf or an oak twig with three acorns.

Location:

West side of the church, to the left from the southern aisle entrance. Rectangular sandstone plaque, currently mounted in the church wall with cement and two additional metal clasps in the middle of its height.

Sachari Hölse was a member of the craftsmen family of bakers supplying the town with bread for several centuries. His ancestor, also Sachari (whose name was spelled somewhat differently) Hülse, was mentioned by the chronicler Hensel as town councillor in 1633. Another baker, whose name sounds similar – Hilse, appeared in a Vogt chronicle in 1813.
