Text of the inscription is carved in majuscule with concave letters.

Location:

Outside the southern aisle of the church, to the west from the wall of the chapel. Rectangular sandstone plaque, currently mounted in the church wall with cement and metal hooks. Above the text is the image of the deceased boy and to the left a house mark of the family (a fish beneath a six-pointed star).

The Fischers were a family of merchants and patricians of Jelenia Góra. From the Middle Ages until the 19th century they owned a manor and an estate near present Wzgórze Partyzantów, which was then called Fischerberg from their family name. Salomon Fischer (1544-1616), a respected town councillor, was authorized by the town to acquire a property in Grabary. He left a legacy for the poor, from which every year they were paid a certain amount.
