Book of Proverbs. 10

The name of the righteous is used in blessings,
but the name of the wicked will rot.

Text of the inscription is carved in majuscule with concave letters.

Location:

Outside the southern aisle of the church, to the east from the wall of the chapel. Rectangular sandstone plaque, currently mounted in the church wall. Above the inscription is a skull with shinbones. Beneath the inscription, in an oval, is a coat of arms (worn away): in a shield a chessboard with a half deer figure turned to the right; above it a helmet with mantling and a crest shaped as a half deer figure.
